Holy Week Bag (Praying Together PTR020)

Aim:: The aim of the Holy Week bag is to provide a resource that can be used daily between Palm Sunday and Easter Day that will enable families to reflect on the Easter story and to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Aim:: To encourage people that if they choose to listen to Jesus and follow Him then they are "safe in His hands" both now and for all eternity.

Aim:: To encourage people that Jesus reinstated Peter as His follower after Peter had let Him down and that Jesus is willing to do the same for us too.

Aim:: To celebrate that on Easter Day Jesus restored hope to His disciples, when He appeared to them in His resurrection body.

Aim:: To teach that when Jesus was raised from the dead, He was given a resurrection body that was equally at home on earth and in heaven. Followers of Jesus will receive a similar kind of resurrection body one day.

Aim:: An Easter day talk to teach people that the empty cross and the empty tomb give the possibility of our empty lives being filled with the fullness of God
